The STEM Exchange (TSE) is a multidisciplinary organization committed to fostering inclusion and belonging in STEM. We aim to connect students with STEM interests and cultivate a supportive and diverse community through community service and outreach.

Our Vision in Action:
- Partner with Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) to host dynamic events thatconnect students passionate about STEM, fostering opportunities for learning, collaboration, and inspiration.
- Organize community service events that create tangible impact and give back to the communities we serve.
- Support Special Olympics athletes by volunteering remotely at Voice of Champions events and providing mentorship to help them succeed and thrive.
Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) Writing Sample
I am incredibly excited to join YYGS Innovations in Science & Technology this July! As the world’s most globally diverse academic enrichment program, I look forward to learning from Yale faculty, collaborating with students from around the world, and exploring cutting-edge ideas in STEM.
My involvement in Yale-sponsored events has deepened my appreciation for Yale’s commitment to service. Last month, I co-hosted the Yale Day of Service at Yale Community Kitchen, where volunteers came together to support the New Haven community. I had meaningful conversations with a Yale professor, staff, alumni, and students, which reinforced my connection to Yale’s mission. This experience inspired me to engage with like-minded peers through programs like YYGS, where community and collaboration are central.
At YYGS, I look forward to bringing compassion and learning mindsets I have developed through martial arts, while sharing my passion for STEM and engaging in collaborative research. I also hope to grow “The STEM Exchange” (TSE), an initiative I founded to connect students with STEM interests and build a supportive learning community.
Joining the YYGS media team would allow me to amplify ideas, share inspiring stories, and help connect YYGS with broader communities. I am truly excited to begin this journey!
